Tonight in Stephens RAC, Companion Richard Arthur was Exalted to the Supreme Degree of the Holy Royal Arch.
For the past couple of years this website has been a bit neglected (my fault). We've had Covid interruptions and also a focus on social media.
Here are some pics from EMM and Mark Degrees in Stephens since last year.
Congratulations to Comp Barclay Walters III who was Exalted on 1 June in a fine ceremony.
Congratulations to Bro Phil Jenkinson who took his Excellent Master Mason degree in Stephens Chapter last night.
Great to see Comp Vinnie Graham able to attend on one his fly in fly out visits from WA.
On Friday night Bros Ben Creevey and Phil Jenkinson completed their Mark Master Mason degrees.
Ben and Phil were great candidates and this meeting saw them complete the degree through a series of lectures and charges.
The IPGZ, M Ex Comp John Ross, was also on hand to present 50 year jewels to Rt Ex Comp Ted Bouson and V Ex Com Jack Morris.
Congratulations to Ex Comp Rod Single who was Installed as First Principal at our September meeting.. He will be ably supported by Ex Comp Ray Hodson (H), Ex Comp Peter Sinclair (J) and a fine team of officers.
Another highlight of the evening was the announcement of 4 elevations: Rt Ex Comp John Littler to the rank of PGH, V Ex Comp Derek Allman to PGSN, V Ex Comp Tom Kwok to PG2ndSoj and V Ex Comp Graham Wilson to PG2nd Soj. These were announced by our GZ, M Ex Comp John Ross who was present on the night. V Ex Comps Kwok and Wilson were present to receive their honours.
Congratulations to Ex Comp Rod Single and Comps Andy Fowle, Peter Watson and Allan Patman who tonight completed their Knight of the Sword Degree and took the long Journey in Stephens Royal Arch Chapter.
Next month all four will take their Knight of the East and Knight of the East and West Degrees.
Congratulations to Peter Watson and Allan Patman who completed their Cryptic Series Degrees in Stephens Royal Arch Chapter this month.
Great work by the whole team. Some exceptional charges given.
At our March meeting Peter and Allan were Elevated to the Degree of Royal Ark Mariner. While short, the RAM degree is very beautiful and unusual in that it is the only Degree in Craft and Royal Arch Masonry which deals with wood and not stone. Again fine work done.
In June and July the Red Cross Degrees will be conferred on Peter and Allan along with other qualified Companions.
Great night at Stephens Chapter. Companion Allan Patman completed his Exaltation by taking the second part of the Holy Royal Arch Degree. Great work by all involved.
Special mention goes to Ex Comp Rod Single and Comp Peter Watson who delivered first time charges brilliantly. Rod, the Symbolic Lecture, and Peter, the Closing Address.
We were also delighted to welcome Rt Ex Comp John France PDGZ who presented our Ex First Principal, V Ex Comp Tom Kwok with his Diploma of Masonic Education for Royal Arch Masonry from the Grand Chapter of SA & NT. Tom is only one of two candidates who have completed this qualification at a ‘Credit’ level. The other was also a Queenslander, the late Peter Percali from Cairns. The GZ, M Ex Comp John Ross, was also to attend but was indisposed and sent his best wishes and congratulations to Tom.
