No 6 Sovereign Council and No 153 Sovereign Chapter Installations

The Installation meetings for both Queensland Sovereign Council No 6 and  Euoggera Sovereign Chapter No 153 were held on Saturday 11 November in the Masonic Memorial Centre 311 Ann St Brisbane.

Ill Bro Rod Single 31º was installed as the Grand Commander of No 6 and Ill Bro Erik Roberts 30º was installed as Most Wise Sovereign of No 153.

Fine ceremonies presided over by the Deputy for the Province V Ill Bro Cliff Isted 33º as his team of Provincial Grand Officers.

Two New Knights Kadosh

Last night at Queensland Sovereign Council No 6, Ex & Perf Companions Rory Cain (Qld No 9) and Bill Hogan (Euroggera 153) took their 30th Degrees and became Illustrious Brethren.

Welcome to the Council.

Perfection and Installation January 2023

On 28 January 2023, Qld Sovereign Chapter No 9 Perfected Bro Russell Mottram of Lodge St Andrew. Following this Ill Bro Ray Saunders 30º was installed as Most Wise Sovereign for 2023.

No 9 Installation 2019

Congratulations to Ill Bro John Victor Edwards 30º who was installed as Most WiseSovereign of Queensland Sovereign Rose Croix Chapter No 9 on Saturday morning 26 January.

The ceremony was carried out by the Deputy for the Province, V Ill Bro Keith McElligott 33º and members of his Consultative Committee.

Notes from Euoggera Rose Croix S.C. Chapter No. 153

Our 52^nd year has begun well.  Ill. Bro. Ken Olin became M.W.S. in December 2017 and we Perfected two new Companions at our first two Meetings of 2018 … father and son from Ironsides Lodge No. 454, Rui and Giuseppe Cassin, Wor. M. and S.W. respectively.

The paper-work is underway for us to hopefully welcome an Affiliate at our third Meeting of the year in July, and we look forward to the Installation of our 53^rd M.W.S. (Ex. & Perf. Comp. Bill Temperly) at 3pm on Saturday, 24^th November 2018, at Kedron Masonic Centre.

No 6 Installation 2017

Congratulations to Ill Bro Ben Muirhead 31º who was last night installed as Grand Commander of Queensland Sovereign Council No 6.

No 9 Installation 2017

On Saturday 21 January Illustrious Bro Don Burns 31º was installed as Most Wise Sovereign of Queensland Sovereign Chapter Rose Croix No 9, Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite for Scotland.

He Installation was undertaken in fine style by the Deputy for the Province, V Ill Bro Keith McElligott 33º and members go his consultative committee.

V Ill Bro Keith McElligott 33º also presented certificates to Ill Bro Cliff Isted 32º and Ill Bro Ben Muirhead 31º.

Promotion Ceremony Melbourne

Congratulations to Ill ∴ Bro Cliff Isted on his elevation to 32° in a ceremony in Victoria over the weekend.

Cliff is pictured centre with two his Victorian counterparts.

Promotion Ceremony Sydney

Promotion Ceremony was held recently in Sydney. Two members of Qld No 6 featured, Ill Bro Don Burns took his 31st Degree and Ill Bro Haydn McBryde took his 32nd Degree.

Congratulations to both Illustrious Brethren.

At its April meeting Queensland Sovereign Rose Croix Chapter No 9 Perfected Bro Peter Adderson of Dennistoun Lodge No 310.
