On Wednesday evening this week we Passed Bro James Sherrit to the Fellowcraft Degree. The ceremony was enjoyable and the candidate and partipating Brethren performed very well.
It was the first night of work for the newly Installed Master, Wor Bro Ray Hodson, and team and all acquitted themselves well.
We were delighted to have a number of visitors from other Scottish Working lodges including Ashton and Morningside as well as regular visitor and long time friend VW Bro Dennis Johnson of Prince Albert. We also welcomed Wor Bro Peter McIntyre from Glasgow.
Another great aspect of the night was the first appearance of our new Organist Keith Redman of Tuscan Lodge. Keith played extremely well and added greatly to the ceremony.
We continue to receive applications for membership and on the night balloted for two new members and read applications for a further two. We also welcomed Mr David Myles as a visitor to our Festive Board. David has since requested application forms to join.
Many thanks to Wor Bro Clif Bothwell who has performed the role of DC over the past few months during the absence through illness of our regular DC Wor Bro Rodger Klopp.
