This is the latest version of this diagram I began a few years ago. Of course this is not the first time a Queensland Freemason has developed diagrams to explain our unique interconnection of Orders. I'm indebted to others for their previous work, particularly that of Gib Miller, whose diagram still remains the most comprehensive, with Chair degrees and exact periods of qualification and progression for some Orders. I hope to add that level of detail some day.
In this version I have removed the Order of the Scarlet Cord which is a re-juvenated English Order that attaches to the Order of the Secret Monitor. This has been removed because it is unlikely we'll have the numbers in this state to establish a local body in the foreseeable future. Queensland Monitors will be able to join the Scarlet Cord, but through an interstate body. The same is true for the Shriners, that American branch of Freemasonry that focuses on children's health and well being. The Shriners have started down south but do not have a presence here as yet.

Also for download is a diagram of the English system, Download Masonic-pathways English[1] , created by Brother Dave Poxon of South Porch Lodge No. 59 (Grand Lodge of Spain) in Lanzarote in the Canary Islands. Dave found me and my diagram through the Internet but that's a long story for another day.
These diagrams show the diversity in the the way Orders are connected in the Masonic World. Every country (and in some cases states within countries) has its own system.
The importance of the Royal Arch as a logical first step after the Craft and as critical pathway to other Orders is evident.
