About General Glasgow Lodge

  • General Glasgow is a Masonic Lodge based in Brisbane Australia and is numbered 267 on the roll of the United Grand Lodge of Queensland. It was originally consecrated in 1919 under the Scottish Constitution. It was named after General Sir William 'Bill' Glasgow, the highly decorated WWI Australian General and was established as lodge for returning members of the AIF. Its membership profile has varied greatly over the years and it now is made up of men from all walks of life. General Glasgow still maintains its Scottish Ritual Work. The Lodge currently meets at the Stones Corner Masonic Centre, 17 Cleveland St, Stones Corner on the 2nd Wednesday night of each month except January, March and June. It holds its Installation in September. Tyling time for regular meetings is 7.30pm.
